  2. FILL OUT THIS FORM with your details. If you submit your video without this, it won't be considered for the Stage.

  3. Finally, hurry and SUBMIT YOUR VIDEO HERE before the deadline:

Youth Got Talent FAQ

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

  • The main subject of the video must be young people (26 and under)

WHAT ARE THE VIDEO REQUIREMENTS?

Note that if you include a song with copyrights, our team will have to edit the music on your video to make sure your video can air without being removed for copyright infringement.

Otherwise, we don't apply strict video requirements, however your video will likely appear best on the playlist if you film it in landscape (horizontally). Do your best to make sure the video picture and sound are clear. To help with this, make sure your lens in clean, you have good lighting, and you aren't somewhere with a lot of background noise (including wind).

Finally, we prefer short videos, so please aim to keep it between 1-3 minutes.

HOW WILL THE TALENTS BE SELECTED?

Talents to be featured on the campsite and live show will be chosen based on multiple factors, including diversity of talents and regions. Our team of JOTA-JOTI staff and volunteers will do their best to ensure that participants can watch a variety of talents by young people from all parts of the world.

Also, all submissions must have followed the four steps listed above to be considered. They must also the values and principles of the Scout Promise & Law, and follow Safe From Harm guidelines.

HOW DO I FIND OUT IF MY VIDEO WAS SELECTED?

Due to the volume of submissions, please do not contact World Scouting to inquire about the status of your submission. To find out if your video was selected, go to the JOTA-JOTI campsite from 20-22 October 2023!
