The Daily Journal of Commerce on Wednesday honored its 2022 Women of Vision Award winners. The awards honor women who are shaping the built environment in Oregon and Southwest Washington via technical skill, leadership, mentorship, community involvement, and promotion of industry diversity.
The in-person celebration took place at the Sentinel Hotel in Portland. Emily Pilloton-Lam, founder and executive director of the nonprofit Girls Garage, was the keynote speaker.
Two special awards were given during this year’s event. Melinda Daily of NWUCA received the Lois Cohen Lifetime Achievement Award and Laura Kerr of Stoel Rives LLP received the Jean Richardson Industry Impact Award.
